Movin' On Up
It finally happened. After four weeks of exhausting Craigslist searching, shopping, and disappointment we found it. Don't ask us how. We'd practically given up. There had been a nice apartment in a dream location--W. 4th and W. 12th--but it was a railroad apartment and to go to the bathroom or the kitchen I'd have to cross through Diana's room. That would've been bad because I like to pee and make grilled cheese several times in a night. Luckily, we found a better one--the best one, actually--the best one we could imagine. It's in Park Slope. It's in a great location. It's across the street from a big grocery store, it's near great restaurants, stores, and all the major subways. The rent is crazy reasonable. The kitchen is newly renovated. And we signed our lease last night! Diana and I are very excited. Move-in is October 1st during which time this site will probably be a little quiet. But who knows, maybe I will blog every beat. In any case, my Chelsea days are over...Brooklyn here I come!
